guaranteed for you pending your decision. It is recommended to formalize your

INSURANCE
All
yachts are insured against risks
from liability to third parties and damage to hull, machinery and equipment.
There is a deductible provision, the amount of which is related to the size
of the yacht.
SECURITY DEPOSIT
You are required to leave a Security Deposit
(guaranty) prior to embarkation in order to cover the possibility of damage
to the yacht or loss of equipment which are not covered by the yacht's
Insurance.
There
are two ways to do that:
REFUNDABLE
SECURITY DEPOSIT (RSD)
This deposit is refunded to you in total if the boat and its equipment are
returned intact. In the case of damage or loss the estimated amount is
withheld and the balance is returned to you.
or NON
REFUNDABLE
SECURITY DEPOSIT (NRSD)
The recovering of the RSD or the reimbursement of any cost of repairs of
damages charged in case of damages, are also offered with an extra insurance
called Non Refundable Security Deposit"
at extra cost of 10% of the Security Deposit plus 150 Euros refundable if no damage. This insurance is
made on the name of the charterer, and reimbursement of damages costs involved are
to be claimed to the insurance by him with our assistance. The NRSD does
not cover other expenses than damages; for covering other expenses which may
occur, such as return fees (skipper and fuel) of the yacht to the end base, a
RSD (1.200E TO 1.500E) is to be left on a credit card (VISA or MASTERCARD).
The subscription of non refundable security deposit is mandatory for all skippered
charters.
SAILING
QUALIFICATIONS
Greek law
requires that if chartering on a bareboat basis, the Skipper must
produce an original certificate or license from his country of origin
attesting his sailing qualifications and experience. This original
sailing license (not a copy) must be presented to the port authorities during
the embarkation. Each sailing party
should have at least two members having sailing
competence, one as skipper (license) and the second as co-skipper (license or
official statement).
SKIPPERED CHARTERS
If you would still like a sailing holiday but do not
have the experience to take a boat out on your own, we can arrange for you to
have a skipper.
Together you will plan your route and discuss your preferences. The skipper's
fee is usually arranged with the skipper prior to the charter - approximately
130 Euro per day plus his food.
Security
Deposit is due as on bareboat charter, please see above
Security Deposit.
The
subscription of non refundable security deposit is mandatory for all skippered
charters.

conveniently obtainable on almost all islands.
CLEANLINESS OF THE YACHTS
The yachts will be delivered in a thoroughly clean
condition. Cleaning equipment is carried on board for your use. A mandatory end
cleaning charge will be applied according to the size of the boat (20 Euros
per cabin).
CHECK IN PROCEDURES

Athens, although in some cases you can request to pick up your boat from
other locations. The boat will be handed over to you
fully equipped with full water and fuel tanks, safety equipment, bed linen,
blankets and towels. You will be expected to return the boat in the same
condition, with full tanks. In most cases, you will pick up your boat and
meet the owner or representative at Kalamaki. This is about 40 minute drive
from the airport. Check-in time is usually 5pm Saturday and check out time
9am Saturday, although this is flexible. During the check-in you will need to supply
a minimum of one sailing certificate as stated above (unless you require a skippered charter - see above) a
complete crew list including passport numbers of the crew and a deductible
security deposit which will be returned to you at the check-out on the
condition that there have been no losses or damages. You will also be asked
to check through an inventory list to establish the existence and condition
of the items on board. If anything is missing or not in good condition,
please make this clear before you sign the inventory list.
